The Real-Time Physical and Cyclical Inventory module provides customers with an automated process for performing a physical inventory count. It enables the reconciliation of the quantity of inventory stated in the system with the quantity of inventory on hand. This flexible user defined module can generate a 1-100% random part number sequence for cycle counts. Throughout the Physical Inventory module, there is emphasis on minimum data entry through a flexible user work-flow driven approach. Statistics and other costs related information are summarized and prepared for integration into an external accounting system.

The physical inventory section of the system offers the following features to meet this objective:

Real-Time Hand-Held Physical Inventory Counting
System "freeze" point - This is a snapshot view of the inventory quantity on hand at the start of the count
Automatic printing of count sheets with bar codes for each part number
Variance Reporting to identify differences
Built-in inventory adjustment process to reconcile variances
Inventory valuation reports and graphs
Integration with Bar Code components to cut down on data entry

The cyclical inventory method is fully supported through the following features:
