The Alexus maintenance system provides a full featured charge back mechanism for allocating equipment costs to departments, divisions, costs centers or a pool system. The visibility of the charge back information is presented in the form of real time inquiries reports or graphical charts. Operations rates supported include a rate for the equipment during service, a fully burdened rate, technician charge rates or a pre-determined monthly rate. The flexible rate implementation is provided through a rate sub system allowing multiple rates governed by specific business requirements that determine how the rates are used or assigned.

Since most equipment records are in a computerized format today, support is provided to electronically implement the equipment and components information into the Alexus Maintenance system through data conversion.
